About Theta Tau - Mu Delta Chapter

Founded in 2012, the Mu Delta Chapter of Theta Tau at UC Merced is part of the largest and oldest professional engineering fraternity in the United States. Theta Tau, founded in 1904, is committed to fostering professional development, leadership, and lifelong friendships among students in the engineering, technology, and applied mathematics fields. The Mu Delta Chapter upholds these values by providing its members with networking opportunities, hands-on project experiences, and involvement in both the university and local community. As a brotherhood dedicated to academic and professional excellence, the Mu Delta Chapter emphasizes ethical practice, teamwork, and innovation. Our members actively engage in philanthropic activities, leadership training, and collaboration across various engineering disciplines, preparing them for successful careers in STEM.
