About Thompson Builders Corp

Since 1989, Thompson Builders has successfully completed over 350 major projects in California totaling over $2 Billion in contract value. Using all project delivery models, we have experience building large-scale commercial and civil construction projects across all markets. Our extensive and diverse experience lends us a versatility that empowers us to tackle any project put before us. We are more than just a general contractor; we are true builders because we self-perform several foundational trades: rough and finish carpentry, concrete and civil work such as grading, paving, and utilities. This provides a huge competitive edge as we can pass the resulting cost savings along to our clients. Many of our projects have won awards and are recognized as Northern California icons, including the Yerba Buena Island SF-Oakland Bay Bridge footings, Manteca’s Big League Dreams Sports Park, San Jose’s Happy Hollow Zoo, San Francisco’s Cadillac Hotel, 72 Townsend, and Chinatown YMCA.
