About tide (together in dementia everyday)

tide (Together in Dementia Everyday) is a UK charity for current and former carers of people with dementia and dementia professionals campaigning for a better future for everyone affected by the disease. We connect, enable and mobilise carers and former carers of people with dementia to use their experience to influence change. By joining our network you get access to free peer-support events as well as our carer development programme. From understanding your own emotional well-being to improving your confidence in advocating for your own needs and the needs of the person you care for. We have the information and advice you need on caring for someone with dementia. We also offer tailored dementia training for the health & social care sector designed to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia and help carers and care providers in delivering person-centered care. The sessions are co-produced and co-delivered by professionals experienced in the dementia field and unpaid carers from the tide network.
