Tired Horses Theatre jobs and careers

About Tired Horses Theatre

Tired Horses Theatre is a brand new company dedicated to aiding rising artists and creating bold new works. Innovative, daring and original, you won't be feeling tired! Established in Ellesmere Port in 2023 by Artistic Director Joseph Meardon. Tired Horses Theatre was created with the aim to foster an experimental artistic environment where new and important stories are told and creative limits are tested. Born out of the frustration with contemporary British politics and access to careers in the arts. Tired Horses Theatre seek to create a space where aspiring theatre artists can begin to take their career to the next level. Passionate about social justice, we not only want to lift up new voices but also tell the those stories that are too often neglected. We want to use theatre to have difficult conversations and encourage questioning of the status quo. We are particularly interested in exploring themes of class, feminism and hate. Putting our shared love of theatre to use, we want to bring you fresh works that unsettle and inspire - confronting the present to encourage a better future.
