About Tivano

Tivano tackles the degradation of Namibia’s savannahs caused by bush encroachment by removing and burying invasive plant species before they can release significant amounts of CO2. We capture carbon at the source by sequestering biomass in sealed underground vaults, monitored in real time to guarantee long-term environmental integrity. This approach delivers durable carbon removal but also supports the ecological restoration of the savannah, making the land once again viable for use for local agricultural activities. In addition, we generate employment and stimulate regional economic activity to benefit local workers, farmers, and infrastructure development. Join us at Tivano to help reduce global emissions and move your company closer to net zero.
