About Tiyuv
Tiyuv exists to transform evaluation from a mechanism of gatekeeping into a practice of justice and liberation. Our mission reflects this commitment: to advance culturally responsive evaluation led by Jews of Color, cultivating approaches that honor lived experience, foster accountability, and generate knowledge rooted in equity and community transformation. We believe evaluation is not just about measurement, it is about strengthening the power of communities to lead their own change. Our vision looks beyond programs and data toward a broader horizon. We envision a world where evaluation becomes a liberatory practice, one that uplifts BIPOC wisdom, nurtures leadership across communities, and catalyzes systemic change. In this future, evaluation is a tool for belonging and dignity, supporting communities as they thrive on their own terms. Together, our mission and vision provide the foundation for Tiyuv’s work: equipping new generations of evaluators, strengthening partnerships across Jewish and BIPOC ecosystems, and reclaiming evaluation as a practice that contributes to justice, accountability, and transformation.
