About Tokimonki

Something is wrong with language exchange. It’s like finding a needle in a haystack. You are navigating platforms that feel more like dating apps than tools designed for language learning... You can spend weeks (even months!) emailing and messaging people, trying to find language partners who are actually serious about language practice... ...and when you finally find a few people to practice with, you're scrambling to figure out: 1. What each other’s learning goals are. 2. How to run your language exchange effectively. Then, priorities change, life happens or you just don't click... and you’re back to the start - sifting through platforms and communities for a language exchange partner. It shouldn’t be this hard! All you want is a way to learn and practice languages beyond the textbooks, lectures and simple language apps. We’re solving these issues with Tokimonki. The first platform that does language exchange the right way.
