Top Tier Foods Inc. was founded in Vancouver in 2013 and is currently the company behind Sushi Quinoa and Quinoa Quickies. In 2021, Top Tier Foods founded Wamame Foods Inc. to develop a line of premium plant-based proteins including the world's first plant-based wagyu beef alternative called Waygu. Top Tier Foods remains the majority shareholders in Wamame Foods as well as holding minority positions in other leading plant-based foods companies. Our mission is to create unique high-quality plant-based foods and invest and accelerate plant-based food companies that have a commitment to excellence. Our Brands: Sushi Quinoa: the world's first sticky quinoa developed specifically for sushi. This non-GMO quinoa is unique in that it has a similar starch structure to Japanese style rice allowing it to be used as a replacement for rice in almost any dish. Unlike other quinoa, Sushi Quinoa binds together on the outside of rolls or can be used in nigiri, bowls, onigiri and much more. Use by some of the most well known sushi chefs in the world (including legendary chef Hidekazu Tojo) Sushi Quinoa's quality and flavour is second to none. The Quinoa Quickies brand uses these founding qualities as the backbone of the product line in making high-quality and nutritional side dishes that are as easy to prepare as rice. Care and attention was paid in sourcing the best ingredients possible, selecting only high-quality gluten-free products, including organic royal white quinoa.
