About Torrential Consulting

Torrential Consulting is a performance testing and tuning firm for e-Commerce web sites and software applications. We are leaders in performance test planning, load test script design, new web site launches, and system tuning under load. We field trusted consultants with deep experience in testing, expertise in troubleshooting, and proven success in the e-Commerce industry. We work through larger service providers and partner with industry-leading software companies to deliver solution breadth and maximum value to our end customers. Our experience includes retail, B2B, SAP Hybris, Adobe Magento, and HCL Commerce (formerly IBM WebSphere Commerce with IHS, WAS, Solr, DB2). Our approach to load testing is disciplined and methodical, using (i) clearly defined performance targets for both response time and throughput, (ii) proven profiling and analysis techniques to improve performance and stability, and (iii) realistically dynamic load tests that accurately simulate live user behavior. Do you want to gain proven confidence in your system's capacity, responsiveness, and stability? Would you like to have a coherent performance strategy that relates faster response times to better business results? We can help. Armed with clarity of purpose, we can enter iterative cycles of baseline testing, tuning, and re-testing to efficiently approach targets and measure improvement. We can also swoop in for a quick engagement to provide a health check or get your site back on its feet. We are a smaller company, with a tight-knit, focused team. You won't get the "big services company" experience with us. Yet through our partners and network of associates, we have surprising range and ability. With us, you get an independent perspective and personal attention. That's the reason that some of the biggest brands in the US, and the world, rely on our services and come back to us year after year.
