Tours of Duty is a veteran-led 501c3 dedicated to recovering America’s more than 81,000 missing servicemembers from past conflicts—honoring the promise that we will leave no one behind. We deploy disciplined, mission-ready teams to conduct humanitarian recovery operations, working in partnership with local authorities, subject-matter experts, and supporters who share a commitment to accountability and results. Our mission is threefold: Bring America’s missing home by supporting search, documentation, and recovery efforts connected to unresolved cases from prior wars and conflicts. Restore purpose through continued service by giving veterans and Gold Star families meaningful roles in mission execution, training, and support—creating a path for healing, community, and impact through the work itself. Support Gold Star Families with long-awaited answers by pursuing truth with persistence and care—helping families receive clarity, closure, and the dignity of knowing their loved one’s story has not been forgotten. Tours of Duty combines military-grade planning with modern field methods and technology to operate responsibly in complex environments. We also invest in the next generation of capability by training veterans in specialized, mission-relevant skills and building a sustainable network of partners who help expand access, readiness, and mission success. Every operation we conduct is rooted in respect—respect for the fallen, for families still waiting, and for the responsibility of doing this work the right way.
