About Town of Avon
Since its incorporation in 1978, Avon has steadily grown and improved, thanks to the dedication and thoughtfulness of its community, elected officials, and Town employees. Avon has earned its reputation as the "Heart of the Valley," not merely for its physical location but because of its unwavering commitment to community. As we look to the future, Avon continues to build on its status as a premier mountain town—an exceptional place to live, visit, and conduct business. We are excited to welcome you to the team, the community, and our collective journey towards achieving excellence in everything we do. And, of course, we fully expect to have a little fun along the way!
