About Town Of Springfield

The Town of Springfield is a full-service town with a population of approximately 10,000. Historically a prominent center for the machine tool industry, we're well positioned to thrive in the information economy. We have the fastest Internet in the country, the Black River Innovation Campus tech incubator, a state airport capable of handling business jets, and easy access of Interstate 91 at Exit 7. Springfield is the official hometown of The Simpsons! We host a microbrewery, an independent cinema, and the oldest continually producing community theater in the State of Vermont!
