About Trauma Foundation South West

We provide free long-term counselling and psychotherapy for refugees and people seeking asylum who are affected by trauma. We also support those working with migrants through trauma training and therapeutic supervision. We take therapy referrals through local partners in the South West of England and are open to requests for training and supervision nationally. We support the resilience and mental health of refugee sector workers, volunteers and hosts in the UK with therapeutic supervision for individuals and groups, online and in person. We also offer training that is highly valued by charities, local authorities and the NHS. Topics include: building trauma informed practice, resilience; self-care; and working effectively with interpreters.
