About True Blue Sailing
Within True Blue Sailing there are two vessels that operate 2 day 2 night tours around the Whitsunday Islands for the fun, young and adventurous traveller. The tours offer sailing, snorkelling and scuba diving as well as a visit to the world famous Whitehaven beach with a young, energetic, interactive crew! The Atlantic Clipper is quite simply the biggest and most popular vessel out on the water in the Whitsundays. It is a must do tour on the east coast and provides breathtaking 2 day 2 night excursions of the amazing Whitsunday Islands, part of the Great Barrier Reef marine park. The size of the Atlantic Clipper is a whopping 34-metres on 3 levels with 21 air conditioned cabins ranging from 2, 3 and 4 berth accommodation. There are 5 hot showers, 7 toilets and a saloon that can sit 60 people very comfortably. There are plenty of sun tan decks and many sheltered areas too. Combine this with two large sails, a 12-person spa, a water chute slide and a massive 8-metre inflatable waterslide. Atlantic Clipper provides an array of activities, perfectly suited to the thrill-seeker in us all with snorkelling, introductory & certified scuba dives, stand-up paddle boarding, banana boat rides, jet boat rides, guided bushwalk and more. The New Horizon is a stunning 21-meter traditional sailing vessel that has beautiful old-world charm with modern comforts such as air conditioning. She is a 21m sailing schooner that accommodates 32 passengers and 4 crew. She has 2 showers, 2 toilets, plenty of sheltered outdoor spaces and sun tanning space. Her beds are spacious and comfortable, 8 doubles and 16 singles. She is one of the last solid timber boats built in Tasmania with famous Tasmanian hard wood, making her a very strong, seaworthy boat. New Horizon has some beautiful features like a human size figurehead on her bow, restored hardwood decks and beautifully restored timber bunks below, paddle boards, dive board, dining, and movie lounge.
