Tuddal Høyfjellshotel (Mountain Resort)is perched on the sunny side of Gaustatoppen; southern Norway’s highest summit. The historic hotel was built as a sanatorium in the 1800s, and is steeped in tradition and character. The hotel has 21 beautifully decorated rooms, overlooking a picturesque valley cradled by stunning mountains. Each night we welcome guests to dine in our restaurant with unrivalled views to the scenery, as they enjoy an exquisite set-menu based on local produce and and fine wines. The location also boasts a café, a brewery and a small shop that sells locally sourced groceries and products. We love sharing tales of the hotel’s exiting past, and share our vision for the future.
