About Turan Research Center

The Turan Research Center is a non-partisan research program hosted by the Yorktown Institute dedicated to exploring modern day developments in the Turkic and Persian worlds in the historic Turan region and beyond. Our aim is to promote a more comprehensive understanding of this understudied region’s politics, culture and strategic importance to decision makers and academics.
