About Tuu Oho Mai Services

We offer 24/7 support to ensure immediate safety, and restore mana among whaanau in the Waikato rohe. Our long history of providing specialist family violence services means we bring in-depth knowledge and expertise, plus a holistic approach that ensures people and whaanau receive the support they need. Our organisation was established as the Hamilton Abuse Intervention Project (HAIP) in July 1991. Just under 30 years later we became Tuu Oho Mai, with a vision of building resilient whaanau.
