About Tyke Town

TykeTown.ca is a licensed, locally owned and operated daycare in the heart of downtown Prince George, British Columbia, dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education and care for children from infancy through preschool age. With three centrally located facilities, TykeTown offers a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can explore, grow, and thrive through a play-based curriculum rooted in discovery, creativity, and care. At TykeTown, we understand that every child is unique. Our early learning programs are designed to support all stages of development — cognitive, social, emotional, and physical — through age-appropriate activities and structured play. Our certified educators are passionate about fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning in every child, while also helping them develop independence, empathy, and social skills through daily interactions and guided experiences. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where families feel supported and children are empowered to reach their full potential. From infant care that focuses on sensory stimulation and bonding, to toddler programs that encourage exploration and language development, to preschool sessions that introduce early academics and structured routines — TykeTown prepares children for success in school and beyond. TykeTown also emphasizes strong parent communication. Through digital updates, consistent feedback, and open dialogue, we keep families informed and involved in their child’s early learning journey. Our daycare is conveniently located for working parents in Prince George’s downtown core, making drop-offs and pickups easy and stress-free. With a commitment to excellence, flexibility for busy families, and a genuine love for children, TykeTown.ca is proud to be a trusted part of the Prince George community — a place where children come to play, learn, and shine. We are rapidly growing in Northern BC.
