About U.S. Vote Foundation

At U.S. Vote Foundation (US Vote), we’re on a mission to make it simple & easy for every American citizen to vote. While the country has made notable strides in voter turnout, there’s still a lot of work to be done to ensure that US Vote’s mission – Every Citizen is a Voter – comes true. US Vote and Overseas Vote have helped tens of millions of voters – domestic, overseas, and military – figure out the how, where, and when of voting. What We Do 1. We give voters the information they need. US Vote’s website is a free, accurate, easy-to-use resource that gives voters a simple way to find out: • Where, when, & how they can register to vote • What their state’s rules are for absentee & mail-in voting • Where their polling place is, & when polls are open • Who their election officials are, & how they can contact local election offices 2. We amplify our reach by making our tools available to other civic organizations. We partner w/ voter outreach groups, federal agencies & state/local governments. US Vote provides accurate, up-to-date software databases of state/local level civic data. 3. We help close the turnout gap for under-represented voters. Our YES campaign shows how to overcome any situational barrier in your path using our Voter Journey Map (VJM). Our interactive VJM produces your personalized plan to vote. Have a disability? Restoring your voting rights after incarceration? Need educational resources? We're here to guide you at us.vote. US Vote is a trailblazer. It is the only nonpartisan, nonprofit organization to offer all voter services and information for domestic, military, and overseas voters in one place. US Vote takes a voter-centric approach to its work, keeping the voters top of mind in every strategic decision.
