About Ubuntu Neighbourhood Organization

UNO is a nonprofit organization created to provide a safe and welcoming space for at-risk youth in a city facing rapid gentrification. As long-standing community members lose access to familiar spaces, UNO stands as a vital hub where people of colour, especially youth, can feel included and supported. Led by young people, we aim to restore the mentorship and sense of community that has been lost, offering a place for connection, shared experiences, and empowerment across generations.
