About UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration

UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration (UK LLC) is the national Trusted Research Environment (TRE) for data linkage in longitudinal research. It simplifies access to linked data for research in the public good, enabling discoveries through linked associations between health, social, behavioural, and economic research. The data held in the TRE is provided by a diverse collection of established UK Longitudinal Population Studies whose participants have been providing data on the basis they are used for research to deliver global benefits and impact. UK LLC enhances the study-collected data by linking participants’ health and socio-economic data and data about the environments, neighbourhoods and dwellings in which participants live. UK LLC is led by the Universities of Bristol and Edinburgh and operate in partnership with University College London, SeRP UK, Swansea University, University of Leicester and City St George’s, University of London and Population Research UK. We are funded by UK Research and Innovation, Medical Research Council and Economic and Social Research Council.
