About UK National Wildlife Crime Unit

The NWCU’s role is vital in tackling wildlife crime. We work closely with front line police officers across the UK. Our work is a mix of training, supporting and advising wildlife crime officers on the ground and identifying current and emerging risks - to UK wildlife and from the global Illegal Trade in Wildlife.
