UNI is a lively, contemporary izakaya located in The Eliot Hotel on Commonwealth Avenue, helmed by Chef-Partners Ken Oringer and David Bazirgan. The menu highlights global street food-inspired small plates, as well as innovative makimono, nigiri, and sashimi, alongside craft cocktails and a wide-ranging sake program. Chef Oringer was named a semi-finalist in the Outstanding Restaurateur category in both 2018 and 2019. In November 2018, Boston Magazine named UNI number one on their list of Boston's Top 50 Restaurants.
