About United Innovation and Care Association

We are a Maharashtra-based NGO working to empower women and youth through skill-building, sustainable livelihoods, and environmental action. With a focus on rural and semi-urban communities across Pune, Satara, and beyond, we combine traditional knowledge with modern tools to create self-reliant, resilient ecosystems. Our initiatives span four core areas: RUDRA – Capacity building in tech, agriculture, art, sustainability, and entrepreneurship HEMA – Khadi production and handloom design by rural women artisans AFIU – Fellowships for grassroots innovators to develop village-based sustainable products Environmental Auditing – ESG, green, and zero-waste consulting for institutions and partners Driven by the vision of a self-sustaining rural society led by skilled women and youth, we work to foster lasting change—village by village, person by person.
