About United Patients Alliance

United Patients Alliance are the UK’s first medical cannabis support group, led by patients, for patients. We provide tireless advocacy, compassionate campaigning, and essential education to safeguard the patients’ voice in advancing legal access to cannabis therapeutics. With over 18,000 active members and supporters, we are the largest patient-led organisation in Europe fighting for sensible reform of cannabis laws that will benefit millions of people. Our aims: 1. Reschedule cannabis from Schedule 2. To be moved to a more appropriate schedule – ideally Schedule 4 alongside Sativex. 2. To make cannabis legally accessible to all patients who wish to consume it for therapeutic reasons. 3. Patients granted the right to grow their own medicine at home without intervention from the law.
