About University Cooperative Housing Association (UCHA)

We are a non-profit University Cooperative Housing Association owned by its members. Members are the students who live at the co-op. The members elect the Board of Directors, which make policy decisions and plans for the Co-op’s long-term financial health. The members also elect the Membership Committee (Mem-Com), which is like the judiciary branch and oversees elections, membership status, room selection, and parking. The members are supported by several full-time employees responsible for managing the key departments of Administration, Maintenance, and the Kitchen.
