About University of Manitoba Robotics Team

The University of Manitoba Robotics Team (UMRT) is a student-driven engineering group that designs and builds advanced robotic systems to compete in events such as the Canadian International Rover Challenge (CIRC). Bringing together talent from mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering as well as computer vision, embedded systems, and communications, UMRT fosters hands-on innovation and collaboration. In addition to competition, the team is dedicated to growing the robotics community through workshops, outreach initiatives, and open competitions that inspire the next generation of engineers.
