About University of Sheffield Medical Society

The University of Sheffield Medical Society (MedSoc) exists to represent the interests of all medical students registered with the University of Sheffield. We serve as the vital link between the students and faculty, promote student welfare and organise a number of activities that help our students get to know each other. MedSoc membership provides many perks - including discounted membership to fifty sub-societies, deals at over twenty business partners and reduced tickets to our social events. We have a volunteer committee of 32 representatives and officers who are elected by our members annually. Members can also run for election themselves, providing an invaluable CV opportunity.
