About University of St. Martin

USM offers students from Sint Maarten/Saint Martin and surrounding Caribbean islands the opportunity to prepare for successful careers in an inspiring environment. Through high-quality, tailor-made education, training, and scientific research, USM contributes to the progress of Sint Maarten/Saint-Martin and the region. Located at Great Bay, also known as Philipsburg, our campus is an authentic Caribbean hub: language, generational, and cultural diversities make it a microcosm of the region and the world. Our programs are dedicated to helping students acquire cutting-edge knowledge while fostering their creativity, productivity, and goal fulfillment. Regardless of background, physical ability, or household income, together, we can build a sustainable future for our nation and region. Our St. Martin Science Research Institute (SSRI) hosts various research projects, visiting Ph.D. and Postdoc Researchers.
