About Upendo Foundation Australia

Upendo Foundation Australia UFA exists to fund a home for orphans and street kids in Moshi in the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Poverty is the over-riding issue in Tanzania and results in lots of children being abandoned, neglected or abused. UFA funds Upendo Foundation and Child Light, the NGO in Tanzania which is currently caring for 22 kids and providing them with a great education. Without our help their future would be very bleak indeed. Our immediate goal is to buy some land and build a fit-for-purpose home big enough to take many more children in there. We want to establish our own food gardens and start a business to make the NGO in Tanzania more self-sufficient. We welcome big-hearted people, families, and businesses who would love to help us in our mission. Join us and feel the warm glow of knowing you are responsible for transforming the life of an African child, giving them the gift of security and an education. You could do this by donating or raising money, joining us on safari in the Serengeti, or contributing to our fundraising efforts in other ways. Please visit our website www.upendo.org.au to see how you can get involved.
