At Uptown Community Health Center, our mission is to improve the health of our community by providing high-quality, compassionate care that respects the dignity of every person. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) look-alike, we offer a broad range of services—including primary care, pediatrics, internal medicine, women’s health, behavioral health, and integrated supports such as nutrition, care management, and specialty clinics—to meet the diverse needs of our patients. We proudly accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance plans, and also provide an income-based sliding fee scale so that cost is never a barrier to care. We are equally committed to the future of health care, serving as a teaching site for resident physicians in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and OB/GYN—helping shape the next generation of providers to deliver excellent medical care with compassion and cultural humility.
