About Upwell Collaborative

At Upwell, we partner with businesses and organizations looking to make meaningful impact in coastal communities. In the ocean, an upwelling occurs when cold, deep, nutrient-rich currents move toward coastlines and surge to the surface, delivering the basic building blocks that fuel thriving ecosystems. This process is our inspiration. By collaborating with our team, you’ll gain access to unique insights and hands-on experiences that connect you directly with innovative solutions and local stakeholders. Let us help you transform your vision into tangible outcomes that drive sustainable economic development. Together, we can take action that benefits your organization and empowers communities. Contact us today to explore how we can work together for a better future. Upwell Collaborative was formally launched in February 2025. Our team includes a growing number of leaders with decades of experience in a diverse array of organizations including major philanthropic foundations, international non-governmental organizations focused on youth development, gender equality, and ocean and environmental conservation, think tanks and policy development shops, and private sector businesses.
