About UQ Japan Society

UQ Japan Society (UQJS) is Australia's largest Japanese culture and language society, based at The Unversity of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. With over 1,000 members, we bring together students who are passionate about Japan - whether that's the language, the culture, or building a career with a Japan connection. We run cultural events, free weekly Japanese Classes, and networking opportunities that create real connections between the UQ community and Japan. We work alongside 50+ partner organisations across Queensland and Japan, providing valuable opportunities (and discounts!) for our members. Whether you're learning Japanese, exploring Japanese culture, or growing a Japan-connected career, UQJS is your friendly community at UQ.
