About Urban Calgary Students' Association

Urban Calgary Students’ Association (UrbanCSA) is a student-led organization at the University of Calgary focused on fostering dialogue and engagement around urban planning, city-building and urban development in Calgary and beyond. Founded in 2009, UrbanCSA connects students with professionals, policymakers and community members involved in shaping the built environment. Through speaker events, workshops, city tours and networking opportunities, UrbanCSA provides students with opportunities to explore real-world urban challenges, develop professional skills and engage with leaders across planning, development and public policy. UrbanCSA also works to strengthen connections between the university and Calgary’s broader urban community while supporting the next generation of city-builders committed to creating more vibrant, inclusive and sustainable cities.
