About Urban Forest Innovations

Urban Forest Innovations (UFI) is a Canadian arboriculture and urban forestry consulting firm working across Southern Ontario, throughout North America, and internationally. With decades of experience and advanced technical expertise, we approach tree management with a preservation-first mindset, grounded in science, data, and care. UFI brings together hands-on arborist experience with a practical, conservation-focused approach to planning. We work with municipalities, developers, institutions, and property owners to navigate complex urban forest challenges in a way that is clear, defensible, and aligned with real-world constraints. From field diagnostics and tree risk assessment to policy development and stakeholder engagement, our team works across disciplines to deliver solutions that are both technically sound and workable in practice.
