About USD Discovery District

USD Discovery District is a university-anchored innovation community in Sioux Falls designed for companies working in biotech, life science, medtech, diagnostics, and health. We connect research, talent, and industry in one place—bringing together the University of South Dakota, the GEAR Center, health systems, and private companies inside a single, growing ecosystem. Building 1 offers lab, office, and meeting space within an active environment shaped by real work, not just potential. Organizations can also engage through conference and event space rentals or virtual membership options designed to connect into the District without a full-time footprint. If you’re building, scaling, or expanding in the life sciences, this is a place designed to support that work. Explore space, partnerships, and membership opportunities at usddiscovery.com.
