About Utilities State Government Organization (USGO)

The Utilities State Government Organization (USGO) is a leading professional association which represents government affairs professionals from investor-owned gas and electric utilities. In our 35 plus year history, USGO has been operated entirely by utility state government professionals chosen by their peers, and has represented members from a diverse set of leading companies in the U.S. energy sector. USGO provides our members with a unique communications network that enables them to learn of developing state legislative trends, compare lobbying approaches and techniques, and exchange information and data on legislative issues so that each participant can better communicate their company’s viewpoints to state government officials.
