About Valley Center Municipal Water District

Valley Center Municipal Water District is located in northern San Diego County and provides water and wastewater reclamation services to its domestic, agricultural, and commercial customers. The District encompasses a 101 square mile service area and serves a population of approximately 25,600. It includes the unincorporated area of Valley Center and unincorporated areas north of Escondido. The District’s Water System has 297 miles of pipe, 7 aqueduct connections, 27 pumping stations, 106 pumps, and 42 covered reservoirs with 137 million gallons of water storage.
