He opened his practice, Rockwood Medical Clinic, P.A. in 1986 on the north side of Fort Worth and has practiced family medicine for the last 35 years. Dedicated to serving the Fort Worth Latino community, he has served several community roles including but not limited to: officer on the Board of Governors of the American College of Family Practitioners of the State of Texas, Board Trustee of the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association, and a Clinical Professor for TCOM/UNTHSC, UTHSC of San Antonio and Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Guevara has also served as a Principal Investigator in numerous clinical trials across several therapeutic areas since 2003.
