About Vanguard Development Collective

Vanguard Development Collective is an Economic Development Organization focused on turning bold ideas into measurable impact. We work at the intersection of strategy, skill-building, and access—equipping entrepreneurs and small businesses with the tools they need to grow sustainably. From workforce development to capital access and procurement readiness, our initiatives are designed to reduce barriers, increase local investment, and drive job creation across underrepresented communities. Based in Alabama and supported by partners like Innovate Alabama, we’re building a stronger, more inclusive regional economy—one entrepreneur at a time.
