About Venture Events, Expeditions and Adventures

Established in 2001, we are a small, family-run business. We began running small, bespoke group trips in Japan, but have grown steadily beyond our base in Kyoto to now also have offices in England and Australia. We have over 15 years of experience and expertise in designing and delivering specialist small-group travel around the world but Japan is our passion. Our team of dedicated local guides have a vast amount of knowledge and a passion for the places we visit. From cities bursting with culture to remote natural wilderness, we operate with a responsible travel philosophy. We organize low-impact, small-group adventures off the beaten track - wherever you are, wherever you want to go. We love working with small groups of passionate people - wanting to do something different, something special, to travel to an exciting destination and have an unforgettable adventure together.
