About Verbalplanet

Established in 2006, Verbalplanet.com operates in the global market for learning foreign languages as a platform facilitating online language lessons between language learners and language tutors from around the world using the Skype internet telephony service. For Language Learners For the language student, Verbalplanet.com offers the opportunity to learn and practice speaking a foreign language in a truly interactive way with the support, encouragement and professionalism of your own personal language tutor, irrespective of time zone, currency or distance. Key Benefits: • Mobility – You can learn online with your tutor from anywhere you have an internet connection making the service ideal for people who travel. • Flexibility – There is no commitment to a course. You decide how many lessons you'd like & when. Simply pick the times that suit your lifestyle from your tutor's online diary. • Availability – Online tuition removes distance as a barrier to learning and provides student’s access to tutors of certain languages which may not otherwise be possible in their location. • Confidence – The live interaction between tutor & student brings learning a language to life and builds confidence in a way not possible with many self study courses. • Partnership – Learning in partnership with a personal tutor provides you with the support, feedback & motivation you need to succeed. Our Mission New technologies continue to make enormous changes to the way people learn modern languages. Whilst we are a 'high tech' service, we are proud to be championing an innovative approach to learning a foreign language with a very 'human' side, and one which focuses on what we believe learning a foreign language is all about: Real people engaging in real conversation.
