Verdant Minerals is developing the Ammaroo Phosphate, one of the largest undeveloped phosphate resources in the world. The Project will support 400 jobs in construction and another 250 jobs once in production. Located about 220km southeast of Tennant Creek, the Ammaroo development has an estimated mine life of at least 25 years. Phosphate is a critical component in many fertilisers used to increase agricultural productivity and global food security, reinforcing the strategic importance of the project. In 2025, the Northern Territory Government granted the Project two key mineral leases, after Verdant Secured consents from native title holders. The Company is now close to finalising its key mining approvals.
