About Vestergaard

Vestergaard is a family-owned global health company dedicated to improving the health of vulnerable groups, especially those in low- and middle-income countries. The company is structured around a humanitarian entrepreneurship business model where doing good is good business. This approach supports achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Vestergaard’s game-changing solutions contribute to a healthier, more sustainable planet by fighting diseases including malaria and neglected tropical diseases and improving food security. Vestergaard’s public health company is the largest global producer of long-lasting insecticidal nets. More than 1.5 billion people have benefited from PermaNet® bed nets, which have contributed to the reduction in deaths from malaria by more than one third over the past decade. Additional company initiatives work to decrease hunger and malnutrition by enhancing food security through GroR®.
