Veteran Retreats Foundation (VRF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to uplifting U.S. military veterans, active service members, and their families through holistic, nature based healing retreats. Founded by Henah Hannah in 2015, VRF blends holistic wellness practices with therapeutic outdoor experiences to support recovery from invisible wounds such as PTSD, traumatic brain injury (TBI), addiction, and reintegration challenges. Guided by a trauma- informed approach, our retreats foster peer to peer support and lasting community bonds. Participants explore complementary alternative therapies from mindfulness and creative arts to restorative nature activities within a safe, inclusive environment. These transformational experiences are designed to restore hope and resilience, allowing veterans and their loved ones to reconnect, share their stories, and find strength together. At VRF, we are committed to creating warm, nurturing spaces that honor every individual’s journey.
