About VETERANS AFFILIATED COUNCIL OF CALIFORNIA - CAPITOL REGION

The Veterans Affiliated Council of California, Capitol Region, established in 1921 by Governor Hiram Johnson, is a civic and social organization dedicated to serving veterans, their families, and the broader community throughout California. With a rich history of advocacy, our organization prioritizes public policy and hosts fraternal events that foster camaraderie and support. In addition to these core activities, we run a variety of programs focused on enriching the lives of youth, providing critical resources to families in need, and ensuring veterans' well-being. Our annual holiday initiatives are particularly impactful, offering food, clothing, and toys to disadvantaged families, with a long-term vision of promoting sustainable support and positive change across generations.
