About Veterans in Emerging Technology and AI Governance (VET-AIG)

Veterans in Emerging Technology & AI Governance (VET-AIG) is a Nevada-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit developing veterans into policy statesmen for the digital age. We exist because AI governance and national security policy are being shaped without the people who understand high-stakes, high-consequence environments best — veterans. There is no structured pathway from military service to technology governance leadership. We’re building it. VET-AIG provides scholarships, mentorship, and a fellowship of practitioners to guide veterans into careers in AI governance, technology policy, and national security strategy. We don’t train technicians. We develop leaders who are fluent in both the technology and the policy and who bring the judgment, accountability, and moral seriousness that these decisions demand.
