Viantis develops next-generation medical devices based on AI-engineered molecular shields that form a localized physical barrier against Human Papillomavirus (HPV), the primary etiological agent of cervical cancer, which causes over 600,000 cases and 340,000 deaths among women globally each year. High-risk HPV infections often persist silently and may progress to precancerous lesions. At early stages, including low-grade lesions, the standard of care remains watchful waiting, with no effective options to actively reduce persistence or support clearance of the infection. Viantis focuses on intervening in this critical window, limiting viral infectivity at the mucosal surface, thereby reducing the expansion and progression of early lesions.
