About VIDNOVA Swiss-Ukrainian Association

VIDNOVA Swiss-Ukrainian Association (VIDNOVA Schweizerisch-Ukrainischer Verein) is a non-profit organization established in 2022 with a mission to support the integration and adaptation of Ukrainian refugees in Switzerland while contributing to Ukraine’s sustainable development and strengthening long-term cooperation between Ukraine and Switzerland. The Association delivers impact-driven projects across key strategic areas, including education, culture, science, healthy lifestyles, sports, business development, innovation, social inclusion, and human rights protection. VIDNOVA operates as a cross-sector platform, actively collaborating with Ukrainian and Swiss institutions, academic communities, experts, and civil society organizations to generate measurable social outcomes. Among its flagship initiatives is the “Ukrainian Book in Switzerland” project, aimed at promoting Ukrainian literature and cultural identity abroad, as well as the establishment of the Swiss-Ukrainian sports school UA-DO, which provides structured opportunities for youth development through sport. The Association has also launched employment support programs for Ukrainian refugees in Switzerland, developed a Ukrainian-Swiss media platform to amplify joint initiatives and public discourse, and supports the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises as a driver of economic resilience. VIDNOVA Swiss-Ukrainian Association serves as a strategic bridge between Ukraine and Switzerland, fostering social cohesion, economic empowerment, and intercultural dialogue. Through the implementation of socially significant initiatives, the Association contributes to long-term recovery, capacity building, and sustainable development grounded in shared European values.
