About Vidya Setu

Vidya Setu is a unified academic intelligence platform built for IIT Kharagpur, designed to simplify how students access and use academic and career-related information. At IIT Kharagpur, critical resources such as course insights, CDC preparation material, BTP experiences, and internship guidance are often scattered across multiple platforms or confined to informal peer networks. Vidya Setu brings this fragmented ecosystem together into a single, structured, AI-powered interface. The platform integrates data from sources like MetaKGP, Kronos, and official institute portals, while also building a persistent repository of student-contributed knowledge. This ensures that valuable insights from each graduating batch are preserved and remain accessible to future students. By organizing information into clear, actionable guidance, Vidya Setu enables students to make better decisions around courses, projects, and career paths. It aims to create a more informed, equitable, and connected academic ecosystem at IIT Kharagpur. Vidya Setu All tools. One AI. Easier KGP.
